The first Hendersonville fashion Show was held on December 15th, 2021 @ THe Continuum Art Gallery and hosted Caleb Owolabi as the designer. Caleb has an interesting design aesthetic because he makes fashion practical. When you watch what he creates you realize that everything on the runway is something that our audience members could see themselves in and his team is so amazing– Gee gee is a designer herself and launches her brand soon, but has been doing wardrobe styling for many years and Ms. Julia, Caleb’s head seamstress is a pillar in the black community and artistic community period. So we felt like this event would be a win win.

The audience members didn’t shy away from this show either. They couldn’t wait to be apart of a corporate event again, and they also know that Hendersonville has a history of manufacturing and textiles that date back hundreds of years. Having corporate giants like “Bon Worth” and “GB Shoes”

We will keep you posted on upcoming Fashion Shows! We are planning a show in April
