When You’re Away, Your Cat Deserves Exceptional Care
Leaving your cat behind can be stressful—not just for you, but for your feline companion as well. Cats thrive on routine, familiar surroundings, and compassionate care. That’s why so many pet owners throughout Hendersonville and Western North Carolina trust Eva Maria Cruz-Schultz, owner of WNC Cat Nanny, to provide personalized, professional cat care.
At Hendo.Today, we recently had the opportunity to film Eva and learn more about the passion behind her business. It quickly became clear that WNC Cat Nanny is much more than a pet-sitting service. It’s a business built on trust, experience, and a genuine
love for cats.
Meet Eva Maria Cruz-Schultz
Eva Maria Cruz-Schultz founded WNC Cat Nanny with one goal in mind: to provide the highest level of care for cats while giving their owners complete peace of mind.
Every cat has a unique personality, routine, and set of needs. Eva takes the time to understand each pet individually, ensuring they receive attentive, compassionate care whether they’re relaxing at home or staying at her exclusive boarding facility.
Her calm, patient approach helps reduce stress for both pets and their owners, making every visit a positive experience.
Professional Cat Sitting in Hendersonville, NC
One of the biggest advantages of hiring a professional cat sitter is allowing your cat to remain in the comfort of its own home.
Instead of disrupting your cat’s routine, Eva visits your home to provide personalized care that includes:
- Feeding and fresh water
- Litter box cleaning
- Playtime and companionship
- Medication administration
- Daily wellness checks
- Photo and video updates for pet owners
This personalized attention helps minimize anxiety while ensuring your cat receives the care and affection it deserves.
The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel
For cats who require boarding, WNC Cat Nanny also offers The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel, a peaceful, cat-exclusive boarding environment designed specifically for feline comfort.
Unlike traditional boarding facilities that also house dogs, The Velvet Paw Kitty Hotel offers a quieter atmosphere where cats can relax without the stress of barking or unfamiliar animals.
Every guest receives attentive care, a clean environment, and plenty of individual attention throughout their stay.
Medication Administration for Cats
Many pet owners struggle to find someone comfortable administering medications.
Eva has experience providing medications—including insulin injections and other specialized treatments—allowing cats with medical needs to receive proper care while their owners travel.
This level of experience gives pet owners confidence knowing their furry family members remain in capable hands.
